Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
oil company
A friend of mine charged her gas at a station in a small town, and they did not have an electronic card system (had an old time slide machine). The charges never appeared on her bill for the last two years, but now they have billed it all at once. Is she responsible for all of this. Is there a statute of limitation?

Re: oil company
The statute of limitations is 4 years for contract cases. If she legitimately incurred the charges, she should pay and be thankful that they didn't bill her sooner. She got a free ride.
