paid in full/check memo
if you put Paid in Full on your check memo and it is cashed, is that legally binding?
Or you make a full payment but have some late charges but put ''May payment, pd in full--current'', is that binding?

No, merely writing those memos on the check does not relieve you of your obligations, though many people mistakenly believe that is the case. There are cases where it does constitute a binding agreement, but it generally involves the other party accepting payment in full after a dispute.
