do i have to pay
a repair shop gave me a price i authorize the work later they told me after they fix it (7 days later) they call and said the price whent up because they did not add labor to my bill do i have to pay for the increase if i did not sign for it in the beginning i don't know if labor was incrase because it took 7 days or the part came from the car manufacturer / 08/07/04-to be fix //part will be in 08/10/04// arrived 08/12/04//fix and call me 08/13/04

Hopefully you have a written estimate where you wrote that they were not authorized to do repairs in excess ofthe estimate without an ok from you. If so, they can't charge you. If not, you didn't protect yourself and may possibly owe the money. If you can't resilve it, I'd suggest contacting the Georgia Office of Consumer Affairs and Better Business Bureau. Regardless, always do written specific estimates.

If you got their price in writing, you are in good shape. If not, it will be your word against theirs.
