Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
Primary Buyer vs. Cobuyer
I am the primary buyer on an auto loan with my step-daughter. Step-daughter left my house and stole the extra set of keys. I don't know where the car is being kept in case of default. I told her that she needed to find someone else to refinance the car with or bring it back. I have not heard from her since. What legal options do I have to take the car back to protect my interests?

I think the key is whether you are on the title or not. Just being on the loan does not give you any rights in the car unless she defaults. You can get a repo guy to get the car if you can find it.
