Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
Promissary Note in an Unenvorceable contract
I have a contract with a gym that I discovered is void and unenforceable under GA law. The gym wont admit this, but they say that because I signed a promissary note within the contract, that even if the contract if void, the promissary note will still be enforceable. Is that true?

We don't have the contracts, and obviously gym disagrees with the analysis. You need to have a lawyer review the documents for a difinitive answer. You can also try to Office of Consumer Affairs.
