Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
Promissory note in a contract
I signed a contract with a gym that included a contract with a company that takes my membership fee out of my checking account every month. I discovered that my contract with the gym is void and unenforceable. Do I still have to pay them the money (because of the promissory note), or is it void because I was giving them money on the condition that I receive gym benefits?

Re: Promissory note in a contract
You should consult with a local attorney who can review the documents. I don't understand your statement that "I discovered that my contract with the gym is void and unenforceable."
Re: Promissory note in a contract
I don't understand the question. Are there two different contracts? How do you know the membership agreement is void?
