Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
purchase of boat
My purchased a boat for $1,600.00 and a computer. We were told the boat was lake ready but the battery was dead. We bought a new battery and found out the boat was not in working order. On the bill of sale he put ''as is'' it was night and we did not see that until today. We called him and he laugh and hung up the phone. Is this something we can take to court and win? Thank you for your help

Re: purchase of boat
You are responsible to read what you sign. You are also responsible to inspect things you buy before you buy them. As is means what it says.
