Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
I purchased some merchandise and it broke after only one use and I had just purchased it only a few hours before. The store I purchased it from has a sign in the front that states "no refunds. No exchanges." but it does not state this on the receipt. I purchased this item 2 days ago. Is there anything I can do?

Stores are not obligated to have a return policy,
You can ask them and see if they want to be nice. Otherwise you're out of luck.

Why would they need it on the receipt (which you only get after the purchase) when it apparently is obvious in the store?
