Purchased a repaired (new) vehicle w/o disclosure

I purchased a 2005 Chevy truck from a local dealership about 4 months ago. The vehicle has about 10500 mi. I recently found out that the vehicle has repair work done to it. However, the dealership did not disclose that information. When I contacted them, they told me that they did not know. But they eventually found the record of repair, worth of $800 (retail value). My car's value is depreciate due to this and I want a replacement truck with comparable equipment and options. They first told me that they would find me a 05 or 06. Now they are trying to make me to do a trade-in. Due to the mileage, they told me that I would have to pay out of my pocket????

Assuming you bought the vehicle as is, you would appear to have no recourse. (I'm assuming your complaint is not knowing about the repair). As is means exactly what it says. I should mention that no one should ever buy a used car without ordering a CarFax report at http://www.carfax.com/ . It is up to the buyer to do this and also to get the car checked by a mechanic BEFORE the purchase.

Your only remedy (absent facts you have not given us) would seem to be if the sales contract stated that the car has not been repaired.
