Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
i purchased a vehicle and traded in my used vehicle. I signed a paper saying i would bring in the title the following day. I went home to find only a certificate of origin and no title. The bill of sale was in my ex girlfriend's name who doesn't have the title and I haven't spoken with in years. Am i liable for anything beyond what I "sold" my used vehicle for. Can they nullify the deal even after they cashed my check?

Deliberately or not, you defrauded the car dealer and sold a car you did not own. This is a case where you need to sit down with them and try and work it out. They could potentially seek to void the transaction, prosecute you for fraud, or ask you for money.
