Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
Purse Parties
Is it alright to sale purses and other
items with 'Coach, Prada, etc' brand
names if a disclaimer is placed within
the item? We have researched
online about the purse parties and
everything has points to them as
illegal. Now we are being told that as
long as a disclaimer is provided then
it can be continued.

Re: Purse Parties
A disclaimer makes no difference. Anyone selling such products will face at least potentially huge lawsuits and possibly criminal penalties as well.

Re: Purse Parties
A "disclaimer" would probably serve well as a written admission of misappropriation of someone else's property rights.
