That would be a bad surprise. Why do you need a lawyer? Have you been to a doctor, and found out you need ongoing treatment for something? When was the incident? Are you asking whether it is an opportunity to get a big check - like a lottery win? No. If you got a serious illness attributable to the mouse, you might have a claim for damages. No damages = no case. Accidents happen. On the other hand, I would expect both the manufacturer and retailer to offer to hand over a fair amount in gift cards and coupons. You might keep the container for a short time to make sure you are OK. Are there PI lawyers out there who will send letters to try to get a quick "nuisance" settlement and fee, knowing they are not going to spend another minute on your case. Sure..
Unless you swallowed the mouse and became seriously injured, you have no legal case. No, you do not need a lawyer. If you politely write a proper letter to the CEO and enclose pictures, and offer to send him the jar, he will likely send you coupons for several bottles of juice or a small gift card. If you make a big deal and say the lawyer word, you'll end up with at best a refund for one bottle.
