Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
What recourse do we have when we hired a person to install new windows in our home / paid him $500 deposit / he said it would be six to eight weeks / it has already been twelve weeks / he doesn't answer our phone calls?

You NEVER pay a contractor before he completes his work. Since you made that mistake the best you can do now is to sue him in small claims court.
