Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
No Refund Policy at mall Kiosk
I purchased a product at a kiosk and was not told about the no refund policy. However that same day i bought it I had to take it back and they had to go through three other product to get onethat kind of worked. They said take it home after it charges it should work. The next day It was not working like the one I sampled. That is when I asked for a refund and they will not give me one. I wasnt told no refunds when I bought it but they have it on the wall in very little letters. If there product worked I would not have wanted a refund. Can they legally do this? If not what should I do? Thanks in advance.

Re: No Refund Policy at mall Kiosk
There is no general requirement that a business has to give refunds or exchanges. You state they policy was posted, but given that there is no general refund requirement, one should always ask before making the purchase. There is sometimes an implied warranty that the product works, but even that can be waived and here you do not make it clear whether it does not work, or it just does not work like another sample.
