Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
No Refund on Puppy Purchased
Last year, I purchase a puppy in Georgia and 2 days later I had to return it because I was unable to take care of it. Initally, I was willing to return it, but the owner said that if I changed my mind to call back and they would give the puppy back. Later that same afternoon, a friend said they would be able to take care of the puppy so I tried to call the owner back, but they would not pick up. I've tried several days straight and left messages, but still no return calls.
1. Am I still entitle to a refund?
2. Is waiting a year too late? (Although, I tried to contact the owner, but they did not call back)
3. What documents is neccessary to show that the puppy was purchase and no refund was return?

Re: No Refund on Puppy Purchased
Unless there was a written return policy in the bill of sale, you do not now and never had a right to return the dog.
