Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

Is a Retail Buyer's Order for a used car with trade-in binding?

I have a signed ''Retail Buyer's Order'' from Toyota saying

they'll take my used car and sell me another for a price of

$22,000. They just called and said they made a mistake

and I actually owe $1000 more than they thought and that

I'll have to make the difference. I've already taken that

Buyer's Order to the Bank and got financing for the

$22,000. Can they really do ths? Is the Buyer's Order a

binding agreement that they have to adhere to?

The answer depends on all of the language of your paperwork, and also on whether both parties signed it. Without knowing that, no one can answer this question.

They, like everybody, is bound by a properly signed contract. Therein may lie the problem of a possible loophole.

Consult with a local attorney.
