Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
Selling my car as-is
I sold my 1998 mazda mpv on craigslist on 4/12/08, about 3 weeks later the person is harrassing me stating the van has a major oil leak. I sold it with a smaller leak that I told him about and put in the ad. He is convinced I knew about this huge leak and lied to him about it due to a post he saw on a Mazda website from me a few months back which is not related to whatever leak he has now. I did not right as-is on my bill of sale; but didn't give him any form of written warrenty either. What will happen at this point if he trys to sue me?

First, check with craigslist and see what their policy is. Then, check with a local attorney.
