Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
I signed my children up for karate before Christmas. the cash I put down paid for January. The automatic debit withdraw starts Feb 1. 2011. since the contract itself states that the contract starts on Feb 1 2011 can I dissolve the contract before payments start?

Does the contract provide that you can? The start date for whatever services or payments are involved, and the date the contract becomes a valid contract, are two different issues. A contract is generally valid the instant it is signed by the parties, unless the terms of the contract provide otherwise.
