Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
I signed a contract with a landscaper to provide weekly maintainence 6 years ago. At the top of the page, it clearly states in large type that the terms of service are for one year. Does the fact that i continued to use the service for the next 5 years (without a new contract) prevent me from stopping our relationship now? There is also a clause in the contract that prevents me from canceling service between the months of October and March!

Does the contract have a renewal provision?
If not, then you could most likely stop your relationship, but the first thing you should do is examine the terms of the contract itself.
