Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

I signed a contract with a martial art club for 12 months for my 7 year old son. I thought I could trust them and did not read carefully the cancellation terms which are: one can cancel only if you're dead, permanently disabled or moved more than 20 miles for the location.

I did not know that they were using a third party for billing and cancellations as they are not mentioned in the signed contract. I found out that this company ASF International located in Colorado are known for unethical practices and they make sure that you pay even if you do not renew the contract.

What are my options? My son does not want to go there anymore, and the martial art club manager does not want to deal with the issue, even though ASF allows them to cancel at their discretion.

Thank you

Your options are in your contract (assuming you are past the initial cancellation period for health clubs, if applicable). It was your obligation to read it before signing. You bring up the billing company and complaints, but you say nothing to indicate the club has not met their obligations in the contract. What "issue" is the manager not dealing with, other than your apparent desire to get out of the contract you signed?

Otherwise, no one here has the contract.
