Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

I signed a two-year cell phone contract for a certain amount. I just received my first bill and the rate is higher than the amount I was quoted and signed up for. When I called the phone company they told me that the salesperson mis-quoted the price and they are unable(unwilling) to give me a price adjustment. I would like to know if I am legally able to now get out of this two year contract with them since they are not adhering to their own terms mentioned in the contract.

Both parties to a contract are generally required to comply with the terms of the agreement. If you have not done so, provide the agent with a copy of the agreement and specifically point out the term at issue. Keep in mind that what you signed controls -not what happened in prior discussions. A billing dispute does not necessarily mean the contract is terminated. Other terms of the contract may be relevant, but no one here has a copy.
