Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
We signed a 2 year warehouse rental contract on a personal signature. Our business failed, and we defaulted. We signed a paper saying we would make payments on the 24.000 lease, and have paid about 21,000 to date. My question is this:
Once an owner re-rents his space, is there any relief for us under the law, or do we still have to keep paying and paying?

The "paper" (assuming that is a settlement agreement) should have provided for that. If it didn't, it was a mistake.
