Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

I sold a computer on ebay to a person in Las Vegas. The payment was on hold for 24 hours. I got an email from PayPal telling me to send the item out because the funds are there. The email never told me that PayPal required me to get a signature for items over $250. I sent the compute out via U.S. Postal Service with delivery confirmation. The computer was delivered to the PayPal confirmed address of the buyer. I have the tracking number to verify this. The buyer filed a claim stating she never received the package. PayPal took the money from my account and gave it back to the buyer because I didn't get a signature. Can I do anything about this. I'm out a computer and the money.

What are the terms of service for Paypal? You left out the part that counts - the agreement you made by using Paypal. You should review the terms before using it. It took only a few seconds on Google to find their rules about signature confirmation.
