Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
I had two storage units obtained at different times. I closed one of them and maintained the second one. A new employee forgot to close the unit until 2 days later. They are now trying to charge me for the previous month and will not accept the payment on the second contract unless I pay them both, which is calling the second contract to be late. Please advise...thanks

Since all of these transactions should be in writing, and pursuant to the original contract, present them with evidence. If you made the mistake of not getting it in writing and it your word against theirs, you'll either have to work it out or pay.
Since all this should be in writing, simply show them what was written the day you closed it. If you made the mistake of not getting things in writing, write them a check.
