Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
If I was in a store playing a video machine supplied by the store and someone came in and snatched my purse with a security guard on duty that was playing the machines instead of working at his post, can I sue the store?

For what? The $100 in your purse?
Of course you can sue the store. You can sue anyone for anything in this country.
Good luck!

Even if the security guard was not paying attention, it appears you may have also been not paying attention while playing a video game. You won't recover for your own negligence.

You can sue for anything. Besides wasting the filing fee, there is a chance the store would get a judgment against you for frivolous litigation. (In other words, don't do it).
