Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

I have been a student with Strayer University for 10 Weeks and my financial aid has not been paid. Due to the incompetence of the Business office. I wanted to know is there any recourse of action on my part in protecting myself if I decide to go to another school. Do they have grounds of ruining my credit or suing me if I decided that I dont want to continue with this stressful situation.

You seem to have a misconception about school.

When you enroll in a school, you sign a contract that requires you to pay in full. The obtaining of financial aid ois your responsibility and NOT the school's, and while many schools assist students, they are not responsible for student aid.

If you break a contract, you can expect to be sued. That lawsuit wil help ruin your credit for seven years. The judgment can be used to seize your bank accounts, salaries, and other assets.

Given that you apparently want us to guess what your agreements are, you really can't get much of a response (other than you owe what you owe).
