Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
Can I be sued for breach of contract?
I entered into a contract to video
tape a wedding and the bride was not
happy with the final edited video.
She has a copy of the video and now
she wants a full refund as well as the
raw tapes. She is claiming that it
took us too long to finish the video,
the only camera angle at the church
was from the balcony (this was done
due to church rules) and there was a
dancer at the wedding that was
poorly shot due to the fact that she
never told us she would be there.
Their lawyer is threatening to sue me
for a refund, legal fees, as well as
damages. If we do go to court can I
counter sue for legal fees?

Re: Can I be sued for breach of contract?
No one here can possibly answer your post. We'd have to review your contract, which would be only document that could begin to answer your questions. At this point you need to pay and see a lawyer. Hopefully you use a contract that you had a lawyer draft as that contract will matter.
