Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
Does a suit filed against an individual for breach of terms of sale (for a pontoon boat) have to be filed in the county of the seller's residence? I understand that a small claims suit does but is that also true if a lawyer files the suit outside of small claims?

Almost all suits in Georgia are filed where the Defendant resides, There are some exceptions based on detailed facts of a case, and a lawyer will know when those exceptions apply.
