Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
taking over car payments
If someone bought a car for me in his name, and we wanted to switch the loan payments and car into my name, how would we do that? would he write me a bill of sale and just give me the title when i paid it off or how would that work?

It's far more complex (and you need a lawyer's help).

You don't "switch" a loan. You obtain a loan in your name and pay off the old loan, and "purchase" the car from the other person.

You have to have the permission of the loan company. Contact them and explain what you want to do.
