Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
termites
In 1994 I bought a Sears Termite contract. In 2001 Sears was bought out by Terminix. Terminix contacted me and told me they will continue serving my contract but they do not offer what Sears did and if I want my contract honored I must upgrade to a new program. This program is $799 upfront and $100 a year more then I paid with Sears. If I do not want to continue with this program I can start over with a new company, costing me $1800 and about the same yearly fee. Does Terminix have the right to not offer what the contract origionally stated?
What do I do?
