Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
Can't title Automobile, questions about return
I have been trying for over 100 days now to get a tag on a used car I bought from a dealership. They just keep saying they are waiting on the title from AL. but in GA you can take a car back after 30 days if the seller can't produce a title, no? The lineholder won't help either. Question 1: When I take the car back, how long does the dealership have to pay off the loan?
Question 2: What if anything do they have to sign or give me as proof when I drop the car back off?
Question 3: I bought this from a dealership 200 miles from my home, but there are several locations of this dealership all over GA. Can I take it back to any one of them or do I have to go back to the specific location?
I have tried everything I know to reolve thsi and to get some help but no one knows or cares...thanks for any advice!
