Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
Tuition Discount Offered
I'm a student at private college. The college offers a discount on tuition for full-time teachers. I was unaware of this discount until this term and therefore did not apply for the discount. The college has applied the discount to this current term only. The college is saying that the discount will not be applied retroactively to prior terms even though I met all requirements for the discount. Would it be worthwhile to file a claim in magistrate court to attempt to claim this discount. The amount is in excess of $4,000.

Re: Tuition Discount Offered
You did not mention a word about the terms of the discount offer(ie, the contract). Is there anything that provides they will refund money for past sessions even though you did not apply?
