Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

Water in Gasoline

The Shell gasoline station near my house had 75% of water in the gas tank. My car was damaged because of it. The owner is not willing to pay for all of my lose (time and money). Shell corporation said the gasoline station is solely responsible. This is not the first time my car is damaged because of the water in gasoline. Should I sue the Shell corportion for mismanagement or call for investigation?

Re: Water in Gasoline

I would suggest doing both in order to avoid similar problems to other motorists. The station is probably independently owned and operated, but your should include them as a co-defendant to be on the safe side. You can always dismiss them after-the-fact.
