Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
My wife wired a deposit to someone in order to rent a place in Miami for a conference. She sent half and someone else was going to send the other half. The other person did not want to wire money and tried to find another way to do it. The person would not let them do it another way and gave a second account for them to wire money to because they said that the first one was no longer good. We have filed a report with the FBI and asked my bank to see if they can recover the money. We have not had any correspondence with them since the email with the second bank account info.
