Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia
An agency managing my condo recently wrote to me saying they commenced a case about me not paying service charges in Feb 2009 of which I did not receive any correspondence of any kind about your intention to commence any legal proceedings. They then quoted me Attorney and court fees totalling almost $2000 between April to September 2009. In light of the given circumstances, i would want them to deduct the attourney and court fees so as to lower my bill.

Since you haven't shown us the underlying paperwork, and we don't know the terms of the court case, what happened in it, what amounts are involved in the case, whether you owed the money, etc., we lack information to answer you. If you have a case so major that the attorneys fees and court costs are $2000, then you should have gotten a lawyer on day one and you still need to see one now.
