Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia
Answer and Discovery Response from Attorney
I properly filed an Answer and Request for Discovery with Paulding County Superior Court for a law suit brought against me by a debt collections law firm. I sent a copy of the A&D to the law firm and they responded by refering my case to the 7th Dist. Sup. Court Mediation Board. Must I agree and go along with Mediation or can I force the case to Superior Ct. where I'm confident I can win? Are there any other alternate choices I should look at here to fight this? I assume the firm did this because they know the can't produce the Disc. nor counter my defense of Statute of Limitations.

Most courts have mandatory mediation. Your post indicates that you did not read the local rules before filing, and this will likely spell disaster for you. It's a bad idea to be your own lawyer. It's a train wreck if you fail to read something as readily available as the court's local rules. (It also sounds like you are unfamiliar with pursuing discovery).
