Bad Check

My husband was written a payroll check from his previous employer. He cashed it at a check casher's place. This check has come back and now they are comming after my husband. The owner of the previous company is responsibel for this check since it was a company payroll check, right?

Your husband is liable to the check cashing place. When he endorsed the check, he guaranteed it to them.
