Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

I am breaking my lease at an apartment complex. the office is saying that i have to pay a pro rated rent for feburary or they will put an eviction on my credit. can they do that if i am out before the first of the month?

They can do anything and everything the lease says they can, probably including suing you.
