Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia
My brother is the administrator of my deceased mothers estate. 22,000.00 was given to him via direct deposit and he has not given me my half. What can I do to cease his account in order to get the monies awarded to me?

Why do you get half? What are the bills of the estate that need to be paid? Has the claims deadline passed? Has the administrator fulfilled his duties? No one here knows these answers. Are you familiar with what has to be done for the administration of the estate?
In addition to Scott's questions, none of us have seen the probate paperwork, or the nature of the deposit, which may or may not even be estate property. If you feel you are entitled to the money, you need to see a lawyer.
You need to consult with a local attorney to see if you are indeed entitled to half.
