I had a customer purchase a car from me.the car he purchased was off an internet site where we buy our cars. he picked a car gave us a check for the purchase of the car so we could then go to the on-line auction and purchase the car. after we purchased the car from the auction he put a stop payment on the check. is there anything i can do and does he have the right in doing this?

It sounds like you have a breach of contract claims, as well as a potential fraud claim. You might also want to report the fraud to the police.
