car repo

if i gave a car back to a ''buy here, pay here'' lot because the engine blew up could they put the car on my credit a year and a half later?

If there was a deficiency between the value of the loan and the value of the car when you brought it back, which with a blown engine cant be worth too much, they can hold you accountable for that red ink. Of course, you agreed to all this when you bought the car. In Georgia used cars are sold �as is� without any warranty, unless you purchase a dealer or service warranty or the car is still on the original manufacture�s warranty. The risk of having a blown engine and the cost of repair is yours because the car is yours.
