Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

I have a car repossession where we owed $6154. I tried for months to work out a deal with Citi Financial Auto to eliminate the late payment charges and refinance the car at a lower interest rate, to no avail. I sent 5 letters, 3 certified mail, 3 emails and 2 phone messages and never received a response. The car was sitting in my driveway, I was not trying to hide it, with the keys in the car in an envelope. I know there is not a voluntary repossession, but it was easy for them to take the car. the car was worth $6500, they sold it for $4000 and say we still owe them $4000 in late charges and legal fees. I do not feel I owe them anything.

Do you have a question? What you "feel" does not matter. Read your contract for your obligations, including your liability for attorneys fees, late charges, etc.
