Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

I want to collect a debt which the debtor signed a consent order. He made a few payments and stopped. The original atty has left Georgia and the firm doesn't seem interested in pursuing it. can another firm pursue this collection, or is collection limited to the firm which started the process
