Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

collection debt

I purcased a few items about 2 years ago and have not made any payments in about 18 months due in part because I lost my job. These items are still in my possession and creditors have sent notices from collection agency`s,but I`ve been to afraid to respond, because I can no longer afford to pay for these items, I intend on filing for bankruptcy within the next 2 months, but that won`t help with these item`s. What do I need to do to resolve this matter?

Re: collection debt

You need to meet with a bankruptcy lawyer now to determine your course of action. Our fees are quite reasonable. Feel free to contact me. In the meantime don't talk with the creditors until you meet with a lawyer.
