Co-sign

I cosigned for my brother for a car and they repossed the car and they are taking him to court but he dosn't want to pay is there any way I could get out of the contract so they wont go after me if he dosn't pay.

Generally, co-signers are just as liable for the whole debt as the primary debtor. In fact, they are actually worse off because they are liable for all the debt but usually have no rights to the property. We do not have your contract to see if it provides anything to change the general rule, so read it carefully.

When you co-sign for a debt you owe the money. If he doesn't pay, it is very likely they will pursue you.
