Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

I have credit card collection sueing me,but I believe statute of limitation was up before case was filed.Last activity on credit report was 2/03 case was filed 1/07 but account was delinquent before that.Payment in 2/03 was made by my now husband not knowing this debt was deliquent.I believe statute starts at point of deliquency which was before 2/03.Do I have a chance in using statute of limitation or not? THANK YOU.

Maybe. You may need to file a motion to dismiss based on the statute of limitations. Have a local attorney review the case and advise you on how to proceed.
