Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

Credit card debt

My father recently passed and we found a credit card bill in his name only. Is my mother who is not on the credit card, nor did she sign for it responsible for paying is debt? They are also requesting payment in full, if she has to pay it can the do this?
