Credit card debt

My sister-in-law in Ga. had cancer and about 3-6 mos to live. When she had to quit her job she ran up $10,00 bill on her Visa card. Her house in in her name and her 21 year old daughter's name. Can they take her house?

If she gets sued, they could levy on the home. If she dies, depending on how the deed is written, they may also come ahead of heirs as to the home. She should see a lawyer immediately to see what options she may have, and possibly she has some, to protect her assets.
