credit card fraud

my husband has a american express business account (LLC) opened using an FEIN while living with me. Now the credit card is showing up in my name with my ssn. How is this possible?

Any response about why AmEx reported it on your report, or why it is there, is just a guess. One possible answer is that you used the card and signed for purchases, which can make you liable for those purchases. Other answers might be found in the original application, and the card agreement. The obvious first step is to dispute the entry for incorrect items.
