Credit Card Judgement

I was served with judgement regarding a credit card debt from 2002 for over $3000 I have recd 1 bill over several years last July for over $2000 I faxd a request for an itemized bill and I never heard from them again until recently, what is the best way to handle without having to pay over $2000 in interest etc?

A judgment is at the end of the case, meaning you already lost in Court. You should have asked prior to judgment.

The best way is usually to make arrangements to pay a valid debt (which usually includes interest). That usually means contacting the creditor (or lawyer handling the case)and settling it with a payment or payment plan, or whatever is agreed upon. If you have a judgment againt you, you may be facing a garnishment of wages and/or bank accounts, so best to do it sooner rather than later.
